8 Features on Oceania Vista We're Dying To Experience
Beccy Miller
The long-awaited Oceania Vista has launched this week, and we can't wait to explore her! She is jam-packed with new features and elevated favourites. Here are some we are most excited about.
1) Ember
The food on Oceania is always a highlight, and their newest signature restaurant Ember looks to be no exception. Ember is a bright space with a relaxed ambience and will be open for lunch and dinner. The menu features mouth-watering American classics, such as Cobb salad with smoked chicken, crab cakes with spicy aioli and braised short ribs on polenta.
2) Broadway-style shows
The entertainment on Oceania is getting elevated. For the first time, Vista features big productions for guests to enjoy. They will start with three shows, 'Headliners', 'The Anchor Inn' and 'Into The Night'. Expect to see songs by famous artists and contemporary dance numbers from the USA 'Dancing With The Stars' choreographer, Britt Stewart.
3) Aquamar Spa & Vitality Centre
This is the first-purpose-built holistic wellness centre that Oceania has added to its fleet. The sumptuous spa terrace offers stunning sea views and is a relaxing space to unwind. There is also a state-of-the-art gym and training area. For those looking for pampering, there is a salon, barbers and rooms for massages and treatments.
4) Aquamar Kitchen
The brand-new Oceania Aquamar Kitchen is dining with wellness in mind. You can find cold, raw, pressed juices and super-food smoothies, power bowls, and avocado toast for breakfast. Lunch offers tempting options, like organic salmon, quinoa tabouleh, or a crunchy chicken sandwich on a freshly baked whole grain bun.
5) Concierge solo cabins
Another first, the new Concierge Level Veranda staterooms category offers free laundry and access to an exclusive Concierge Lounge. There are also six cabins exclusively for solo travellers, with a seating area, full bath, and private balcony.
6) The grand staircase
All the Oceania fleet features a stunning staircase, and Vista has the grandest of them all. With sleek curves and a floor-to-ceiling pillar of crystal and light, this airy space is perfect for a selfie at the start of the evening when you're dressed in your finest.
7) Super suites
At the ship's top, eight Vista suites provide up to 1,850 square feet of great living space, including a teak veranda. There are also three Owners suites, each with a cocktail bar, styled by Ralph Lauren home. All Vista suites and above come with 24-hour butler service, with two-crew members for every three passengers.
8) New mixology program
Vista will feature a new and innovative bar program with carefully curated cocktail menus, low and no-sugar wines, zero-proof cocktails and the latest cocktail flair techniques, such as flavoured mist bubbles. Drink carts offer one-off experiences like the Ultimate Bloody Mary Bar.
